About CIRCE - Center for Interdisciplinary Research on Cancer and Equity in Women

The CIRCE center at Lund University (Sweden) was founded in December 2025 through a generous 6+4 year grant award from the Swedish Government (Forte and the Swedish Research Council). CIRCE is comprised of investigators from three faculties and 9 departments at Lund University, and 7 wards at Skåne University Hospital, and collaborates closely with women’s health experts, Columbia University (USA), and both regional and national societal stakeholders. Over 100 co-workers are participating within CIRCE projects.
