About City Year Milwaukee
City Year is an education organization that believes all children can succeed, and that developing and investing in our young people contributes to strong and vibrant communities. We recruit young people age 18-25 to serve in Milwaukee Public Schools as AmeriCorps members. Our City Year Milwaukee AmeriCorps members partner with teachers to tutor students on-on-one or in small groups, help students stay focused in class, organize school-wide events and run afterschool programs. City Year Milwaukee AmeriCorps members build strong relationships with students that support their learning and help them develop skills that are critical to their success in school and in life.
