About Clarix Imaging

Clarix Imaging is a medical technology company on a mission to transform breast cancer specimen imaging. Founded in 2016 by medical imaging experts at the University of Chicago, we set out to close a gap in the operating room, making the specimen's internal 3D detail available for review in the OR, before surgical closure. Our commercially available VSI-360™ Volumetric Specimen Imaging System brings true 3D (Micro-CT) imaging to intraoperative specimen margin visualization. Where 2D imaging flattens the specimen into a single view, VSI-360™ reconstructs it in full 360° volumetric detail in less than 3 minutes, enabling the surgeon to visualize and understand the specimen in real time.
