About Code For Good

Code for Good is an accredited non-profit organization, established in September 2024, dedicated to empowering fellow non-profits through digital transformation and AI adoption. Our mission is to help these organizations save up to 20% of their time, enabling them to focus more on what truly matters—serving their communities. Our diverse network of volunteers include seasoned technologists passionate about using their expertise for community impact, aspiring software engineers from bachelor’s and master’s programs, high school and university students eager to make a difference, and professionals re-entering the workforce after a sabbatical. At Code for Good, we not only develop and implement cutting-edge software solutions for non-profits, but we also empower the underprivileged youth these non-profits serve. As beneficiaries of these organizations, these youth are trained to manage and maintain the codebases and infrastructure we build. This hands-on training equips them with valuable STEM skills and opens doors to a brighter future, allowing them to take ownership of the technology and thrive in a digital-first world.
