About College and University Healthcare Education Consortium
🏗️ CAUHEC Connect is national infrastructure for clinical placement in healthcare education. Built on the finding that the U.S. healthcare workforce crisis is a coordination failure, not a preceptor shortage, CAUHEC Connect functions as the operating layer connecting academic institutions, students, and verified preceptors across nursing, NP, PA, PT, OT, and allied health disciplines. 📱 The platform is live on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Students from more than 100 schools have enrolled organically. More than 500,000 verified preceptors are accessible through the platform. Institutional partners range from single brick-and-mortar programs to multi-state academic footprints. 📊 Each year, 93,176 qualified nursing applicants are turned away. Eighty-six percent of medical schools report preceptor shortages. A 3.2 million provider shortage is projected by 2030. These are not supply problems. They are infrastructure problems, and infrastructure is what we build. 🏆 CAUHEC Connect is a Camelback Ventures portfolio company and fellowship recipient. The platform is backed by a pending non-provisional patent filed October 2024.
