About The Community and Children's Resource Board

Using a voter-approved 1/8 cent sales tax, the Community and Children’s Resource Board (CCRB) funds local nonprofits to provide essential mental health and substance use treatment services for children 19 years of age or younger in St. Charles County. CCRB-funded programs aim to improve child emotional and mental well-being; strengthen and stabilize children and families; and respond to the shifting mental health needs of children. For every dollar spent in St. Charles County, 1/8 of a cent is dedicated to the Children’s Community Services Fund for St. Charles County children and teens, up to 19 years of age. The CCRB oversees the administration, allocation, and distribution of the Children’s Community Services Fund. In addition to its responsibilities of administering these funds, the CCRB oversees local funding for the Missouri Children’s Trust Fund License Plate Program.
