About San Francisco / Bay Area Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA)

The Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) is a non-profit organization established in 1981 to serve the financial professionals in the construction and real estate development industry. Currently boasting over 7,600 members in 94 chapters in the U.S. and Canada, the Association is designed to provide a forum which encourages intra-industry involvement and provides a beneficial source of interaction among the industry’s professionals. The general membership in the Association is opened to financial managers in all types of construction and real estate development entities. In addition, through associate membership, participation is open to other interested parties which provide services to our industry. The CFMA national association, together with local chapters, continues to sponsor and promote programs, seminars and activities designed to provide a forum for communication, information, education and analysis of current developments which are unique to our industry.
