CoolLED designs and manufactures advanced LED illumination systems for fluorescence microscopy, transmitted light microscopy and OEM optical instrumentation. Founded by a small team of LED illumination specialists, CoolLED introduced the first commercially available LED illumination system for fluorescence microscopy in 2006. Since then, we have helped transform light source technology for researchers, clinicians and instrument manufacturers around the world. Our products are used across life science research, clinical imaging, neuroscience, calcium imaging, optogenetics, digital pathology, spatial biology, high-content screening and industrial applications. From everyday fluorescence microscopy to advanced multi-channel imaging, CoolLED systems deliver stable output, precise control, fast switching and long operational lifetimes. The CoolLED product range includes broad-spectrum fluorescence light sources, multi-channel illumination systems, Fura-2 calcium imaging solutions, transmitted light systems and compact single-wavelength illuminators. We also work closely with OEMs and system builders to develop custom LED illumination platforms across UV, visible, NIR and SWIR wavelengths.
