From our base in Hull, we are a leading UK seafood supplier and processor, providing responsibly sourced fresh and smoked fish across the UK, the Middle East and Europe. Our capabilities span processing, product development and final packaging, ensuring every product meets the highest standards. We hold BRC AA+ certification, the highest global food safety standards recognised by major retailers worldwide. Every product leaving our facility is independently verified for quality and safety. Founded in the 1980s as Simpson Seafood, we have grown into one of the UK’s largest independent fresh and smoked fish processors. In 2010, we became Copernus Fresh Fish, and in 2024 we joined the Suempol Group, one of the world’s largest salmon processors, with operations across Norway, Poland, France, Belgium and the United Kingdom. We are also a partner of the Prevented Ocean Plastic programme, reflecting our commitment to responsible sourcing and sustainable practices across our operations. We perfect what the sea provides.
