Cork University Hospital is one of the largest academic teaching hospitals in Ireland, serving both the local population and the wider health system regionally and nationally. Our specialist services serve all of Munster and the Southern 1/3rd of Ireland. CUH operates the only level 1 trauma centre in the state and delivers highly specialist medical and surgical care such as neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, robotic surgery, stroke thrombectomy and PPCI services, and the largest range of cancer services, all co-located on an integrated campus serving both adults and children. CUH also operates and supports an increasing number of services in the community. Our academic partner is University College Cork.
