Advocacy & Engagement • Liaising with local authorities to advocate for business interests, such as market refurbishments and funding allocations. • Engaging with Croydon Council and stakeholders to secure resources and improvements for the local business community. 2. Community Support Initiatives • Homeless Feeding Initiative: Providing meals through member contributions and seeking funding to expand support. • Exploring partnerships with major retailers for additional resources. 3. Small Business Growth & Networking • Monthly Networking Events: Held on the first Wednesday of each month to foster collaboration among local businesses. • Community Events: Organizing public events, such as a summer event at Surrey Street Market, to promote and support town centre businesses. • Online Presence Development: Plans to create a website to enhance visibility and communication among members. This CIC focuses on empowering small businesses, fostering community collaboration, and driving positive change in Croydon Town Centre.
