About CRS Editorial
Formed in October 2020, CRS Editorial is the business of Craig Smith, and was voted as a Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday (#SBS) winner in September 2022 and also New Business of the Year 2021. Craig is a respected editor, proofreader and copywriter with 28 years’ experience of working on publications of varying style and target audience. With a pedigree of high-quality editing and proofreading, and meeting deadlines on fiction novels, business books, memoirs, autobiographies, flagship academic resources, governing body publications, annual reviews, official magazines/digital journals and writing web copy, Craig has conducted interviews and written features for a wide range of clients. He is a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading. Comfortable working on a range of software programmes, he was previously the editor of, and writer for, the UK's leading sports coaching magazine, a well-known membership exercise and fitness publication, plus a notable officials' magazine. He is also the proofreader of a 396-page renowned physical education resource, published once every four years. With a meticulous approach to his work and a passion for all things editorial, Craig has worked with several high-profile individuals and organisations, and was previously editor and account manager for the creative output of multiple national governing bodies.
