Daka Denmark A/S which operates in the international rendering industry, processing animal by-products for the pet food, animal feed and fertilizer industry. Daka also produces animal nutrition applications. Further, Daka produces high-quality, second-generation biodiesel made of animal waste. Daka employs some 280 people in Denmark and Sweden and administers four business areas: Daka SARVAL, Daka ReFood, Daka SecAnim and Daka ecoMotion. Daka serves a large number of suppliers: slaughterhouses, country butchers, retail customers, mink farmers and farmers incl. hobby farmers, veterinary hospitals and stud farms. Our products are exported to local as well as global markets (Europe, Chile, Thailand, South Africa etc.). All our products and production plants meet the highest international quality standards. Daka is part of a green cycle and continually invests in high environmental standards. We want to be regarded as a competitive and reliable partner to suppliers and customers, and we consistently strive to optimise processes, products and services. Daka Denmark is owned by SARIA holding 51% in Daka Denmark A/S, and the remaining 49%-shares are held by Danish Crown, Scan AB, Tican a.m.b.a. and Slagteriet Brørup A/S.
