About Office of the Assistant City Administrator for Government Operations
The Office of the Assistant City Administrator for Government Operations (GovOps) empowers District Government agencies with the tools, technology, facilities, talent, and confidence to efficiently serve District employees, residents, businesses, and visitors. The Government Operations Team in located within the Office of the City Administrator and is managed by Assistant City Administrator Chris Rodriguez, who is responsible for overseeing a cluster of nine agencies: the Department of General Services, Department of Human Resources, Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of For-Hire Vehicles, Office of the Chief Technology Officer, Office of Contracting and Procurement, Office of Risk Management, Office of Disability Rights, and Office of Labor Relations and Collective Bargaining.
