About de:hub Initiative
de:hub – The Innovation Network for Growth and Collaboration The de:hub initiative by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and the Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation (BMDS) connects companies, startups, and research institutions across 25 specialized hubs, each focused on key industries and technologies. From FinTech in Berlin to GreenTech in Rostock and Security & Defense in Munich, the hubs foster collaborations that drive digital transformation, technological innovation, and growth. Each hub leverages regional strengths and thematic expertise to launch pilot projects, support innovation partnerships, and accelerate the market entry of new technologies. By bridging the gap between business and science, the de:hub initiative strengthens the competitiveness of Germany’s innovation ecosystem.
