Delta Dental of Kentucky is the only not-for-profit dental insurance carrier in Kentucky. As the oldest and largest dental insurance administrator in the Commonwealth, Delta Dental is the industry expert on dental insurance for employer groups and individuals. Delta Dental of Kentucky expanded its portfolio in recent years and now offers vision insurance as well as life and disability benefit plans. Nearly 1M members are insured through Delta Dental of Kentucky’s dental, vision and life benefit programs. In addition to its benefit offerings, Delta Dental also operates The Delta Dental of Kentucky Foundation. Since its inception, the Foundation has provided over $23M to deserving nonprofits across Kentucky. Annually, the Foundation donates at least $1.5M, with 70% of all donated funds distributed directly toward dental treatment for those in-need. Delta Dental of Kentucky is a member of the Delta Dental Plans Association, a nationwide system of independently operated dental health service plans. Together, the plans provide coverage to more than 56 million Americans and operate the nation’s largest network of participating dentists.
