About Democracy Fund
Created by eBay founder Pierre Omidyar and philanthropist Pam Omidyar, Democracy Fund is a foundation working to build an inclusive, multiracial democracy that ensures freedom, dignity, justice, and well-being for everyone in the United States. Since 2014, Democracy Fund and its partner organization Democracy Fund Voice have committed over $550 million in grants to support pro-democracy organizations working to strengthen our democracy. Democracy Fund collaborates with our grantees, peer funders, and other partners to reverse democratic backsliding and create a democracy that works for everyone, especially those it has historically left behind.
