About Derive Technologies
Derive Technologies was founded in 2000 through the combination of two long-standing technology firms dating back to 1986--incorporated as “Derive Technologies” in 2001. Derive's team, all of them already long-time collaborators at the time of the company's official founding, continue to design and deliver progressive business-technology solutions that meet the challenges of New York Metro Area, national, and global enterprises, with a focus on on-going reduction of CapEX and OpEx. Derive grew from a local systems integrator and value-added reseller (VAR) to a recognized national and international IT business consultancy. The principal vertical markets that Derive serves are Healthcare, Financial Services, State, Local and Federal Government and the Public Sector, and other professional services enterprises, from SMBs to organizations of global scale. Our practice areas surround Hybrid IT with Cloud, Hyperconverged, Composable and Software-Defined Infrastructure, IT as a Service (ITaaS), Security and Cyberdefense Mobile Workforce and IoT, Artificial Intelligence Solutions, Collaboration, Network Design and Implementation (Switched / Wireless), and Lifecycle Technology Purchasing and Support Services.
