About Devices 4 the Disabled

Devices 4 the Disabled (D4D) is a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit equipping people with disabilities to live fully by ensuring access to essential medical and assistive equipment—regardless of cost, coverage, or circumstance. Through the collection, refurbishment, repair, and redistribution of medical equipment, we help remove barriers that limit mobility, independence, and participation in daily life. Working alongside healthcare providers, community organizations, and supporters, we expand access to life-changing resources while extending the life of valuable medical equipment through reuse and responsible stewardship.
