About Dickinson's Water District
Dickinson Water District (previously called Galveston County WCID #1) provides drinking water, wastewater, and contracted solid waste services to more than 8,000 homes and businesses throughout the Greater Dickinson community. Established in 1938, we are the oldest water district in Texas and remain committed to delivering reliable utility services while investing in infrastructure, customer service, and operational excellence. Our team includes professionals in operations, maintenance, customer service, administration, and leadership who work together every day to serve our community.
