Diversity+: the art of thinking independently together
About Diversity+
Our vision is to dismantle outdated cultures and structures and rebuild workplaces with diversity, equity and inclusion at its core. Diversity+ was founded by Naeema Yaqoob Sajid - a specialist solicitor who overcame many barriers in order to enter the legal profession. Despite the barriers, Naeema became a Partner at one of the top 10 legal firms in Scotland, and from that high level of achievement, she put the ladder back down to help others. Driven by her passion for leaving something behind, Naeema co-founded SEMLA (Scottish Ethnic Minority Lawyers' Association) and began working through that forum to support ethnic minority lawyers through the barriers they face on the road to success. Diversity+ was later created out of necessity and frustration, with workplaces continuing to struggle to recruit and retain diverse talent. We provide bespoke services designed to support workplaces to be successful in their diversity and inclusion objectives by creating strategies that focus and manage change with momentum and innovation. We provide you with the missing pieces.
