Doddington Hall & Gardens
A family-run historic estate in Lincolnshire, bringing together heritage, hospitality, retail, nature and wellbeing.
About Doddington Hall & Gardens
Doddington Hall & Gardens is a living, working estate in Lincolnshire, cared for by the Birch family and a wider team of staff and volunteers. Built in 1595 and never sold, the Hall remains a much-loved family home at the heart of the estate. Since 2006, Claire and James Birch have continued the work of previous generations, caring for, restoring and evolving Doddington for the future. Today, the estate brings together heritage, gardens, food, retail, hospitality, events, weddings, accommodation, wellbeing and nature recovery. Every visit, meal, purchase, stay or event helps support the care of the Hall, Gardens and wider estate, with profits reinvested into protecting the buildings, landscape, wildlife and visitor experience. In 2021, Wilder Doddington launched as a 400-year project to restore nature across the landscape and create new opportunities for people to connect with, learn from and care about the natural world. Doddington is a place to explore, eat, shop, stay, gather and return to. Shaped by generations, looked after today and cared for with tomorrow in mind.
