The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Dominance Financing (EDF) was established by the bipartisan Energy Policy Act of 2005 to serve as the premier public financing organization for large-scale and high-impact energy and energy infrastructure projects in the United States, for the benefit of all Americans. EDF finances impactful American energy projects, breakthrough American energy innovations, and domestic energy infrastructure upgrades. EDF programs and projects support the Trump Administration and Secretary Wright’s efforts to bolster American energy security; maintain technological global competitiveness; and provide a more reliable, stable, and affordable energy supply for all Americans. EDF programs can provide lower-cost financing for American energy projects across key technology sectors such as nuclear; critical minerals & materials; clean coal, oil and gas & hydrocarbons; grid & transmission, geothermal; and manufacturing & transportation. EDF continues to work with current and potential applicants from across the private sector to unleash American energy. To learn more about EDF and its financing programs, go to Energy.gov/EDF
