Dr. Heide Consulting supports insurers, reinsurers and financial services companies in three tasks that today belong inseparably together: strategy, IT renewal and the productive use of artificial intelligence. From analysis to implementation, with one clear ambition: that in the end something works measurably better. Founder and owner is Dr. Jesper Heide, PhD in theoretical physics and executive with more than 20 years of experience in strategy consulting (Booz Allen & Hamilton), corporate strategy (Munich Re), in-house consulting (Allianz) and as Managing Director / CIO. Familiar with artificial intelligence since his own research on neural networks at university, long before it made headlines. Focus areas: ▪ AI solutions for insurers: fraud detection, claims reserving, chatbots, predictive analytics, GenAI (generative AI) and AI agents ▪ AI governance: EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, explainable AI, responsible AI ▪ Corporate, digital and IT strategy incl. future analysis and positioning ▪ Transformation programmes: cloud migration, core system replacement, programme governance up to board level ▪ New business models such as embedded insurance (insurance as part of other products) Mandates include Director Strategy & Programme at InsurTech Hub Munich as well as engagements for insurers, reinsurers and mid-sized companies. In addition, regular talks on AI, quantum computing and robotics to audiences of several hundred. Why a physicist? Because physics teaches you to reduce problems to their core.
