About E-Group

For over three decades, E-Group has been engineering trust into software. Today that work sits at the centre of Europe's sovereign AI movement. Founded in Budapest in 1993 and 100% Hungarian-owned, we are a deep-tech software company building federated AI and sovereign data platforms for regulated industries: healthcare, government, finance, energy, and space. We work where data cannot leave the building, compliance is non-negotiable, and trust must be engineered in, not bolted on. We operate as a knowledge factory, translating cutting-edge academic research into production-ready software through active collaboration with leading universities, postdoctoral teams, and research laboratories across Europe. Our flagship platform, FedEU.ai, is the AI and knowledge processing layer of IPCEI-CIS; the EU's most ambitious cloud and edge infrastructure programme. E-Group leads Workstream 3 of the consortium. Our CEO sits on the EU Industry Steering Board of IPCEI-CIS and chairs its AI Cluster. In 2026, our Ambiti8n consortium proved what European deep-tech can deliver: a fully working federated AI system across eight companies and four countries, built in four months and demonstrated live.
