About ECDESIGN

Ecdesign is a 3D interior design software developed by ECDESIGN Sweden AB, a Swedish company founded by Richard Grönberg in 2004. Our head office is located in Örebro, Sweden. Our vision was to create a software that enables people in sales to quickly plan and visualize any space in 3D without the need for complicated CAD tools. Ecdesign was first introduced to the automotive aftermarket industry, and its success led industry leaders to implement Ecdesign in the repair shop design process. In 2007, we expanded our reach to the commercial fitness industry, where Ecdesign quickly became the new industry standard. By 2009, over 65 leading fitness equipment manufacturers had added their 3D models to the software. Today, Ecdesign is a leading floor plan software, with over 10,000 companies in 170 countries using our software to plan and visualize their spaces. In 2023, we released the fifth generation of Ecdesign, further advancing our mission to provide user-friendly 3D space planning solutions to customers across industries.
