About Egnatia Aviation
Egnatia Aviation is one of the leading Flight Training Organisations in Europe, providing 100% commercial pilot training. In all our courses we mirror the Airline procedures, methodology and environment focusing both on technical and non-technical skills (competencies). Egnatia Aviation provides training to the cadets of major airlines such as Olympic Air, Aegean Airlines, Iraqi Airways and Wizz Air. In 18 years Egnatia Aviation has become one of the largest and best airline pilot academies in Europe with Airline cadet contracts and self-sponsored students from all over the world. More than 240 full time students are undergoing commercial training in Egnatia’s own General Aviation airport "Lydia" in Kavala, Greece. Egnatia Aviation is very proactive in introducing new training requirements and tailors the training according to the airlines non-technical and personal requirements. Part-145 aircraft maintenance and aircraft sales complete the company’s commercial activities. We are currently in phase 2 of developing the first fully organised General Aviation Airport in Greece, very close to the town of Kavala. The airport, when fully developed, it will offer all GA facilities and services, plus a student campus.
