Elaphe Propulsion Technologies Ltd.
Creating sustainable mobility that inspires excitement.
About Elaphe Propulsion Technologies Ltd.
Elaphe is the name behind the team with the longest track record of in-wheel technology development and delivery. As a pioneer of in-wheel electric motor technology, high-speed motion control software and power electronics, Elaphe is paving the road to software-defined mobility. Delivering scalable in-wheel solutions with extensive experience of integration into a wide range of vehicles. We believe traditional EV architecture with central drive units is missing out on the full potential of electrification possible with in-wheel technology. The current electric vehicles lack differentiation and excitement; they are inconvenient, expensive, and inefficient. Elaphe goes beyond the powertrain, developing the domain knowledge to simplify vehicle architecture through high-speed motion control enabled by in-wheel motors. Our vision is to unlock a new level of performance, design freedom, safety, and long-trip efficiency while reducing vehicle weight and number of components for maximum cost efficiency. Driven by a commitment to truth, content, a holistic approach, and a (pro)active mindset, Elaphe has grown from an idea into a strong technology partner on the path to serial production with Tier 1s and OEMs. We take matters into our own hands. We push boundaries when needed, lead where possible, and create new paths where none exist. Based in Slovenia, operating worldwide. Elaphe.
