About Electronics Watch

Electronics Watch's mission is to use public procurement leverage to promote and protect the rights of workers in global supply chains. We focus on: • Building the capacity of our 1500+ affiliated public buyers in Europe and Australia to implement responsible public procurement • Coordinating worker-driven supply chain investigations, together with our civil society monitoring partners, and • Facilitating the remediation of identified human rights abuses Our international network of monitoring partners provides workers with an external grievance channel and public buyers with eyes and ears on the ground in key manufacturing and mining regions. Worker-driven monitoring builds trust and puts workers’ needs and concerns first, and this is why Electronics Watch investigations often detect human rights issues that get missed by corporate audits. We seek to meaningfully engage workers and their representatives in efforts to address the identified issues. This contributes to more sustainable solutions and supports access to effective remedy where harm has occurred.
