About EMISA Business Association

EMISA is a unique non-profit business association, representing independent manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers in the marine engine (after)market. EMISA's aims are: - Free access to the market. - Fair competition. - A regulatory framework to support these aims. - Innovation to ensure long term sustainable transport solutions. We work on issues such as digitalisation, right to repair, competition, and intellectual property, to ensure a level-playing field for independent companies in the marine engine (after)market. We provide our members with: - Legal guidance on relevant topics (IP law, competition, ); - Representation of their interests in our work on the EU and IMO level; - Networking at our regular meetings (General Assembly and at major marine exhibitions); - A library of knowledge, built on our expertise and lessons from the past; - Patent research service.
