Lindsay Muir founded the business in 1962 with a simple goal: To provide essential pharmacy consumables to local pharmacies. Over time he built an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare sector, understanding how to deliver value to pharmacies and their customers. Once a local healthcare supplier, EMT soon became a UK wide household name with the Muir family at the helm. Today Rod and Richard Muir lead the business, building on their families expertise, introducing new systems and technologies and ensuring you, our customer, is at the heart of all we do.
