Energy Oman was established in December 2020 by Royal Decree (2020/128) to focus on realizing efficiencies and pursuing new growth opportunities in Oman’s energy sector. The company’s stated vision is to be a world-class partner for growth while driving a sustainable energy future. EDO owns 60% of block 6 Oil Concession, 100% of Block 6 Non-associated Gas Concession, and 100% of Hydrogen Oman. تأسست شركة طاقة عمان في شهر ديسمبر من عام 2020 بموجب المرسوم السلطاني رقم 128/2020م بهدف تعزيز الكفاءة واستغلال فرص النمو في قطاع الطاقة بسلطنة عمان، وتتمثل رؤية الشركة في أن تكون شريكاً عالمياً لتحقيق النمو وبناء مستقبل مستدام للطاقة. وتمتلك الشركة حصة 60% من منطقة الامتياز النفطية (مربع 6)، وحصة 100% من منطقة الامتياز للغاز غير المصاحب (مربع 6)، كما تمتلك الشركة حصة 100% من شركة هيدروجين عمان.
