About Espada Studio

Espada Studio is my personal toolkit turned into a product. After more than a decade working as a Game Designer specialised in systems, economies, and balancing, I kept running into the same problem: the tools I needed didn't exist, or weren't intuitive enough to use. So I started building my own. Fast prototypes. Debug utilities. Economy planners. Simulators. Over the years these internal tools became the backbone of how I work. Espada Studio exists to turn those private tools into polished products so other designers can work faster, think clearer, and build better systems without reinventing everything from scratch. Founded by Jelle van der Zwaard - Game Designer.
