About European Marine Science Educators' Association (EMSEA)

European Marine Science Educators Association (EMSEA) EMSEA is a network of marine science educators acting as one voice across Europe and beyond. Our mission is to act as a hub for the European marine education community to promote and deliver Ocean Literacy across society by connecting scientists, teachers, policy makers and the public. 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 Our shared vision is a society of Ocean Literate citizens who recognise the vital importance of the Ocean, working together to ensure it is sustained for future generations. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗘 𝗗𝗢 EMSEA is a membership organisation. We support our members by sharing good practice and training opportunities through our annual international conferences. We work on grant-funded projects, ensuring our members can benefit from this work. We organise events within our EMSEA regional groups and provide ways for the network to connect through digital platforms.
