About European Olympic Committees - EOC

The EOC is an international, non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation with a mission to raise the profile of Olympic sport in Europe. We guide and support the activities of the 50 European NOCs and working closely with European Federations (EFs), government agencies, athletes and organising committees. We aim to propagate the fundamental principles of Olympism at European level by supporting grassroots activities and through the delivery of elite sporting events such as the European Games, the European Youth Olympic Festival and the Games of the Small States of Europe. We also assist athletes and coaches in their pursuit of excellence in international competitions and work on inspiring people of all ages to lead healthy lifestyles while encouraging participation in sports.
