About EXCITE International
Founded to Address the Gap After Regulatory Clearance EXCITE International was established in 2016 in response to a recurring challenge in healthcare innovation. Medical technology companies were successfully advancing through scientific development and regulatory review, yet many remained insufficiently prepared for the payer and clinical decisions that would determine coverage, adoption, and implementation. The missing element was often not additional internal expertise. It was the opportunity to explore, in depth, the expectations of independent payers and clinical stakeholders before commercialization strategies were finalized. EXCITE developed the Evidence & Technology Review to address that gap. Through structured engagement with multiple independent U.S. payers and clinical experts, innovators gain direct insight into the evidence, value, adoption, and implementation considerations that may shape their path forward. Over time, this work has revealed recurring patterns in how organizations prepare for commercialization decisions. Those observations now inform EXCITE’s evolving perspective on Commercialization Readiness as an emerging executive management discipline.
