The mission of Expanding Frontiers is to provide novel educational experiences and hands-on training for students, veterans, and aspiring entrepreneurs with the goal of creating and growing an innovation ecosystem in Brownsville, Texas with emphasis on space and energy technologies. Space exploration is primed to be a key positive element in the technological and economic transformation of our society. Our programs include: 📌 The Entrepreneur in Residence Apprenticeship Program ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Expanding Frontiers offers a one-of-a-kind program to aspiring entrepreneurs and astropreneurs in South Texas who want to learn to successfully launch startups in the space, energy, and technology industries. 📌 The Veterans Ascension Program ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ Expanding Frontiers supports highly trained veterans to find careers in the commercial space industry, actively matchimg veterans with companies who need their talents, and then supporting veterans as they integrate into civilian life. 📌 Rockets & Rigs Cross Industry Initiative ‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾ We are creating and commercializing technical solutions through ongoin collaboration between the oil and gas community and the space exploration industry. Oil and gas participants include operators like ExxonMobil and Chevron, as well as oilfield service and equipment manufacturing companies like Baker Hughes and National Oilwell Varco.
