About Federation of European Microbiological Societies
FEMS drives science, uplifts the next generation, and fosters scientific communities. We create in person and online spaces convening microbiologists, and our activities are designed to champion science. Through its 50+ Member Societies, FEMS is a global network representing more than 30,000 microbiologists. As a UK-registered charity and not-for-profit organisation, it is led by passionate microbiologists who volunteer their time and expertise. FEMS is supported by a professional team based in the Netherlands.
