FirstBound exists to create a generation of veteran founders. Every veteran understands the principle of the first bound: the deliberate step forward taken from cover, with discipline and intent, while others provide support. It's calculated courage. It's the moment progress begins. Entrepreneurship requires that same step. Many veterans leave service with the ambition to build a company but there is no clear pathway ahead. Support is fragmented. Access to capital is inconsistent. Networks are uneven. Career transition programmes create a well lit road to a civilian job but for the veterans who choose entrepreneurship over employment? That road ends.  FirstBound exists to change that. We’re building the UK’s first integrated veteran founder platform where investor readiness and access to capital networks are built into the founder journey. Founders are supported from early validation to growth, enabled by training, mentorship, strategic partners, community accountability and introductions to external, independent capital networks and partners. Our mission is simple and measurable: 500 new veteran founded businesses in five years. This is not about charity.
