About FirstLight Federal Credit Union
We are a local, community-driven financial cooperative serving El Paso, Fort Bliss military installation, and Las Cruces communities. Chartered in 1955, we proudly celebrate 70 years with a clear mission to improve our members’ and soldier lives so they can achieve their dreams. With assets exceeding $1.6 billion, we have a thriving culture represented by 360+ employees committed to delivering the best member experience through our core values—excellence, relationship building, ownership, and teamwork. Through our dedicated people and continued investments in technology, we empower our membership to bank when they want, not when they have to through our eleven community engagement centers or virtually. Beyond our "Best of the Border" and "Best-in-State Credit Union" accolades, we have built a reputation for being fiscally sound and giving back. Through our Community Foundation, we have raised $450,000 in the last four years to fund scholarships for graduating seniors. And through our FirstLight Giving Program—where we donate $1 for every funded loan—we have provided over half a million meals to help combat food insecurity in partnership with El Paso Fighting Hunger and Casa de Peregrino’s Food Banks. Our commitment extends beyond financial services. Our volunteers and team members actively serve on local boards and committees, such as the El Paso Chamber, YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, Community en Acción, and Hospice El Paso. From our military roots to our community involvement, we are more than a financial institution. If you share our passion for making a difference and believe in our core values, consider joining our team! We are always looking for driven individuals who want to grow professionally while serving our members and community. Whether you're interested in membership, financial wellness classes, strategic partnerships, or a meaningful career with us, we’d love to connect with you. Reach out today and be part of something bigger with FirstLight!
