Fistula Foundation
🌍 Global leader in obstetric fistula treatment, healing women across Africa and Asia 🧡 $624 can end needless suffering
About Fistula Foundation
One million women in low-income countries needlessly suffer from obstetric fistula—a childbirth injury that causes incontinence—because they cannot access the surgery that can cure them. We provide high-quality treatment to these women, serving as an essential bridge between women who suffer needlessly and selfless people who want to help them. Across that bridge flow resources to doctors who perform life-transforming surgery and to outreach workers who connect women with the treatment that they deserve. Since 2009, we have provided more than 100,000 surgeries to women in 35 countries across sub-Saharan Africa and Asia by funding more than 140 hospital partners and community organizations. Today, we are the global leader in obstetric fistula treatment. Rating organizations consistently award us top honors for efficiency, impact, and innovation. Learn more: www.fistulafoundation.org
