Flanders Investment Company (FICO NV) is a Belgian family-owned real estate company of the Michiels family with its headquarters in Haaltert (Belgium). FICO, as a long-term investor, invests in real estate, renovates, develops and adds value. FICO continuously searches for the right balance between the historical or intrinsic value of its assets and their optimal sustainable functionality. Its commercial real estate portfolio consists mainly of office, retail, residential and hospitality properties concentrated in the Flemish art cities (Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges), Brussels and in its hometown of Aalst and its surroundings. Furthermore, the company has an agriculture & forestry division and built over the years a substantial landbank.
