The FMP Alliance is an association of industry-leading organizations focused on driving the adoption of safe, sustainable Fault Managed Power technology. Our mission is to drive the global transition to fault managed power systems that prioritize safety, reliability, efficiency, and environmental sustainability. Fault Managed Power is a new power distribution technology that combines the simplicity and ease of PoE with the high-power, long-distance capabilities of high-voltage AC power. It is also known as Class 4 power in Article 726 of the 2023 National Electric Code. As demand grows for more resilient, adaptable, and cost-effective power distribution, FMP is poised to transform a wide-range of industries, including smart buildings, industrial manufacturing, data centers, transportation, wireless networks and controlled environment agriculture.
