ForestSignal is a forensic due diligence service for buyers of carbon credits. ForestSignal works exclusively for buyers of carbon credits, never for project developers. That focus shapes everything about how I approach a review: no dual-sided incentives, no relationship with the projects being assessed, just an independent read of whether the claims hold up under scrutiny. My process is adversarial by design: I start from the assumption that a project's claims need to be tested, not summarised. That means cross-referencing project development narratives against modeled baselines, reconciling carbon stock data collected at different points in the project's timeline, and flagging discrepancies that a surface-level review would miss, the kind of gap that can separate a defensible credit from an overstated one. I'm currently working with early buyer partners as I build out ForestSignal's methodology and track record.
