About Francis House Children's Hospice

Francis House is Greater Manchester’s children’s hospice. Local families come to us for respite from the stresses and strains of difficult times. They come to talk, play, laugh, cry, and to find the space, time and one-to-one support they need in their most challenging times. Francis House provides quality care to the families of children, teenagers and young adults with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. We support more than 435 families from across Greater Manchester and Cheshire including Bolton, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Wigan, Salford and Manchester. All services offered by the charity are given completely free of charge and include respite care, homecare, day care, sibling support, symptom control, end of life care, emotional support and bereavement support.
