About Fresh Meet CIC

Fresh Meet CIC is a social enterprise built alongside Bravand, a Sheffield-based digital agency. We generate income through real, paid digital project work - designing and building complex platforms, internal tools, user-centred products, and digital services that have to work for multiple audiences at once. That work creates paid internship opportunities for young people entering the digital industry. Interns work on live client projects alongside the Bravand team. Around 100 hours per internship. Paid at Real Living Wage. Real responsibility, real output, real experience they can point to. Surplus is reinvested into free "Careers in Digital" workshops - running sessions with schools, colleges and community organisations to widen access to digital and tech careers. We have a particular focus on working with young people that might typically be at the back of the queue when it comes to this sort of thing: - Additional needs - Alternative provision - Care experienced - NEET (or at risk of) - High deprivation / economically inactive / low social mobility Most programmes offer inspiration.
