Frontier Psychiatry
Telepsychiatry for Montana, Idaho, and Alaska. 30+ providers, all subspecialties, notes back after every visit.
About Frontier Psychiatry
Frontier Psychiatry is a telepsychiatry practice built for the places where care is hardest to reach. We were founded in 2019 by Montana psychiatrists who kept seeing the same thing: patients waiting months for an appointment, or driving hours each way to get one. So we built a practice that comes to them instead. Today our psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners care for patients across Montana, Idaho, and Alaska, from wherever those patients already are. Home, work, or a local clinic. WHAT WE TREAT Child and adolescent psychiatry. Adult psychiatry. Addiction psychiatry and medication assisted treatment. Neuropsychiatry and memory care. ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD. HOW WE WORK No referral required. Visits are 30 minutes minimum, because a real conversation takes longer than 15. We accept most insurance, including BCBS, Medicaid, Medicare, and Evernorth. We coordinate with the therapist and primary care provider a patient already has, and we practice conservative, evidence based medication management. Patients rate their visits 9.4 out of 10 on post visit surveys. FOR PATIENTS AND FAMILIES Check your coverage and book a first appointment at frontier.care/get-started FOR REFERRING PROVIDERS AND PARTNERS We work alongside hospitals, clinics, treatment centers, and tribal health organizations across our three states to keep patients in care close to home.
