About G&N Genauigkeits Maschinenbau Nürnberg GmbH
G&N - the successor to the mechanical engineering division of Georg Müller Nürnberg AG. As a family-owned company, we can look back on 90 years of continuous innovation and development. Our story - from the beginning to today: In 1930 the first grinding machines were developed and in 1964 we set a milestone with the development of the first European silicon grinding machine for ½" wafers in cooperation with Siemens and the University of Erlangen. This tradition of excellence has led us to cover the complete range of surface grinding machines for machining metallic and non-metallic materials. These include SiC, Al2O3, SiN, GaN, Si and other brittle and difficult-to-machine materials used in various high-tech applications. Our machine range: Our product range extends from high precision semi-automatic machines for processing semiconductor materials and metals to fully automatic wafer grinding machines. At G&N, precision and efficiency are paramount. 90 years of experience, innovation and development: We continuously use our long experience and the extensive knowledge we have gained over the years to optimise and develop our products. We do not stand still, but focus on emerging markets such as the semiconductor industry, where we are shaping the future with innovative solutions. At G&N we pride ourselves on providing quality products and service. We are present in many different industries and strive to set new standards in the machining of materials.
