About GATE Capital Management SA
GATE is an Advisory & Asset Management group dedicated to Institutional (including Pension and Insurance Funds), Private Banks, and Family Offices worldwide. GATE Capital Management is animated by a core Global Macro investment process (Global Macro Hedge Fund), leveraging an open ecosystem, allowing clients to navigate across asset classes and investment styles. The specificity of GATE Capital Management nests in a Global Macro and Cross Asset approach, completed by a Quantamental process. Scalability and Agility must rely on a single investment process (illustrated by our GTO - Hedge Fund Global Macro Strategy), sending signals across asset classes and addressing diverse liquid investment profiles. Our GTO (Global Tactical Opportunities) is GATE Capital Management’s main engine, initiating thematic and feeding our hedging process, named DRIVE (Dynamic Risk Investment Value Engine). The current market environment has been particularly challenging for Long Only Managers. Markets’ drawdowns frequently eliminate positive returns. GATE Capital Management SA has developed DRIVE, a proprietary process to address downside risk and reduce hedging error impacts. It combines macro analysis, quantitative signals, and a risk budget. In addition to our Global Macro expertise, the USA and China are concentrating on our central investment thesis at this stage. We are specialists in Chinese A-shares strategies.
