About Genesis Biopartner

Genesis Biopartner is a Romanian company specialized in the recovery of biodegradable waste and the production of renewable energy through advanced anaerobic digestion technology. Through our operational biogas plants in Filipeștii de Pădure (Prahova County) and Cordun (Neamț County), we recover approximately 90,000 tonnes of food waste and organic biomass every year from the food industry, retail, HoReCa and other commercial sectors. These materials are transformed into renewable biogas, green electricity and organic fertilizer, supporting Romania's transition to a circular economy. Our facilities generate renewable electricity equivalent to the annual consumption of nearly 14,000 households, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and diverting biodegradable waste from disposal. Genesis Biopartner provides nationwide solutions for the collection, transport and recovery of biodegradable waste, helping businesses achieve regulatory compliance, improve ESG performance and implement circular economy principles through safe, controlled and fully traceable recovery processes. Genesis Biopartner was founded in 2011. Our first biogas plant in Filipeștii de Pădure, Prahova County, became operational in 2013, marking the beginning of our commitment to transforming biodegradable waste into renewable energy. In 2024, we expanded our operational network with a second facility in Cordun, Neamț County. Today, Genesis Biopartner continues to grow through the development of new biogas plants in Almăj (Dolj County) and Pișchia (Timiș County), reinforcing our long-term commitment to building a national network of renewable energy infrastructure.
